Excursions
While most of your time is unscheduled, the trip includes two excursions:
- A day trip to tour Mayan ruins, swim at a fresh-water cenote
(a natural well), and visit other sites in the region; and
- A snorkeling trip to the world's second largest coral reef, which
is just 200 yards offshore.

Excursions on your own might include a Mayan market with traditional crafts and dancing; swimming in a jungle cenote; shopping in Playa del Carmen, and more.
